Final Fight Series

Final Fight

The Japanese cover of Final Fight shows off the entire, memorable cast...well except for Guy. It's interesting that Capcom tried coining terms such as 'Super Real Fighting Action' and 'Freedom of Movement' even though the game isn't dramatically different from predecessors such as Double Dragon.

Front:

Close quarter fights, stunts and free movement unfolds with 'Super Real Fighting Action'. The world burns with intense fighting, as the strongest men in history impose their will. Now, it begins again...ON FINAL FIGHT!

Back:

The 'Super Real Fighting Action' of Final Fight...finally explodes.

The violent Mad Gear gang continues to decimate Metro City with their evil deeds. In order to save the town, as well as secure the return of Jessica, who has been taken hostage...the strongest of men rise up to the task. The sharp and nimble Cody and the unrivaled strength of Hagger use their powers to beat up all in their way! Utilize jump skills even the eye can't catch, chain combos and breathtaking special moves. The fury of justice has surpassed its limit. Thanks to the Super Famicom, 'Super Real Fighting Action' explodes across the game's 'freedom of movement' design.

Final Fight (Mega / Sega CD)

Final Fight was considered one of the Sega CD's killer apps. Not just a far more accurate port than the SNES, it also boasted a redone soundtrack. On the spine card, Sega couldn't resist rubbing it in Nintendo's face a bit!

Spinecard:
The charm of the original has been perfectly ported!!
Because of the Mega CD's abilities, there's both a 2 player and original mode. The fight heats up!!

Back:
Evil forces have Metro City in a panic! 3 men burn with justice.

Here in Metro City, there is no peace, nor order. And after the city's Mayor, Mike Hagger, imposed punishments on the violent gang [Mad Gear]...his daughter Jessica was abducted! Will you be able to rescue her?

Final Fight (Sharp X68000)
The Sharp PC port of Final Fight was quite accurate to the arcade. However, you better have plenty of coinage, as the price on the packaging lists the game at an astronomical 9,800 Yen.

Super Real Fighting Action. Final Fight...finally erupts!

The hyper-violent gang 'Mad Gear' continues its rule over the ruined, apocalyptic Metro City. In order to restore peace and rescue the hostage 'Jessica,' the city's strongest trio stands up to battle them. The Ultimate Hero, Guy. The Fighting Genius, Cody. Also, the City's Mayor, Unrivaled in Strength, Haggar.

Close quarter fighting, distance attacks and palm sweating excitement are found within the SUPER REAL Fighting Action.

Well, there's no use in sparing any mercy for this evil organization. Utilize the power of your three heroes to beat up the deplorable criminals!

Final Fight One
Shortly after the unfortunate demise of SNK, their famed artist Shinkiro made his way to Capcom to produce the box art for the GBA port of Final Fantasy One. Quite an interesting port, the small viewing size is forgivable in exchange for all the cosmetic and dialogue changes Capcom brought to this version. One really neat feature is being able to play the game using Guy and Cody's sprites from their Street Fighter Zero / Alpha appearances.

The greatest action in the world!
The 3 men reappear in ONE, stepping up to the fight!

Crush Mad Gear using link-play!
