Besides the beautiful art work, something especially interesting is that one of the shots is from a beta version. Notice level 1-1's sky is set to dusk, and Bullet Bill is lacking not just his shark-like mouth, but also arms. Nintendo's usage of the term "technical fantasy game" introduced in Super Mario Bros. 3 is retained here.

Mario and friends have brought peace back to the Mushroom Kingdom. Accompanied by Princess Peach, they decide to relax with a vacation. They depart far south, towards the mysterious Dragon Land. Arriving at Yoshi’s Island, they encountered a strange and amazing dragon (Yoshi). Yoshi tells of a monstrous turtle recently appearing in Dragon Land, causing trouble for the entire Yoshi population. To Mario, it sounds like Koopa, who seemingly still hasn’t learned his lesson. And if that wasn’t enough, Princess Peach has been captured again.
Battle the Koopa Army as Mario or Luigi. Play in either normal form or powered-up, such as being able to take to the skies with a magical cape. Hiding all throughout the island, Yoshi is able eat turtles and spit out fire. An experience tightly packed as Super Mario World would not be possible on the Famicom. Go on and enjoy the new Super Famicom, where you’re limited only by your imagination.
