Crash Bandicoot (9.9.96)
A slightly more frenetic Crash appears on the Japanese cover. While I enjoyed playing this in various demo kiosks, I was in the middle of a full-on meltdown over Super Mario 64 and never really immersed myself in the series. While not completely 3D, the packaging did a good job of declaring it's uniqueness as a "depth scroller".

Experience the universe' first "Depth Scrolling'" action game!
- This type of action appears for the first time!!
- Over 30 fully polygonal stages for Crash to run though!!

Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back (12.18.97)
Crash Bandicoot's sequel was quite well received, and technically impressive to boot. I have fond memories of playing the demo disk and marveling at the reflective ice floor.
Crash has...made a return to greatness!!
[With the aim of becoming the most popular guy in the universe, Crash sets off on his next adventure!
Over 30 stages filled with variety, with far more new actions compared to the previous game. Also, usable vehicles make their first appearance, leaving even Crash super satisfied. A simple to use save system is also introduced! A huge Crash adventure that has turned so great, begins once again!!
Crash Bandicoot: Warped / Crash Bandicoot 3: Blast off! Around the World (12.17.98)
Considered by many to be the best in the series, Warped upped the gameplay variety and stretched the PS1 to it's limits with its more expansive stages.

A highly successful late PS1 title, CTR's smooth gameplay arguably bested that generations multi-player racing king, Mario Kart 64.

Filled with modes such as story, race, battle and time attack!
Crash Bash / Crash Bandicoot Carnival (12.14.00)
After rather successfully borrowing from Mario Kart with Crash Team Racing, Crash Bash was met with less favorable reviews; being considered an inferior execution of Mario Party's formula.
