Final Fantasy IV (Super Famicom) (7.19.91)
A ground breaking evolution to the series, Final Fantasy IV brought a brilliantly paced story and the active time battle system, which was continued in numerous games afterwards. Curiously, Cecil, Rosa and Edge are accompanied by the more generic black and white mage designs, still encountered in towns.

Commanding the airship group, [The Red Wings], the Kingdom of Baron is the world's strongest military state. Now, the gears of the country are starting to malfunction. Why is it that Baron is obsessed with the Crystals? What in the world could be happening?

New System: Active Time Battle.
The new battle system is filled with tension.
The ability to assess an ever-changing battle situation is the key to victory. Party members (5 maximum) can be divided with both controllers, allowing for two-player simultaneous play.

A carefully crafted story unfolds. Numerous friends and unique characters. Frightful evil
beings. Towns, castles and a varied landscape. Much joy, and sorrow, awaits in this super authentic role-playing game that's filled with surprises.
