Bionic Commando / Resurrection of Hitler: Top Secret (NES / Famicom) Japanese Packaging / Box Art Translation

Bionic Commando / Resurrection of Hitler: Top Secret (NES / Famicom) (7.20.88)

Due to its very sensitive subject matter, the direct references to Nazism and associated symbols were censored for the Western releases. While Hitler was renamed to 'Master-D,' his unmistakable likeness was left unaltered. The final battle infamously contains one of the most graphic, and arguably satisfying cutscenes available in the NES library.

Go rescue Super Joe!

The Nazis' unfinished mission, "Project Albatros," was once contained in a top secret document. After it passed into the hands of a certain man, history begins...

In order to recover the document, the hero 'Super Joe' was dispatched, however his communications were interrupted. The squad sent off to rescue him was met by enemies clad with the swastika.

That particular squad is one man, named Ladd. Can he safely rescue Joe? What becomes of "Project Albatros?" Also, what is the true form of this elusive Hitler 'apparition'?

Now, just what shall transpire...
