Pikmin (GameCube) (10.26.01)
The charming bright pollen background, flowers and creepy stares of the Pikmin certainly beats the poorly aged 3D render used on the American box. Also loved the back with the drawings of Olimar and the Pikmin casting long shadows behind the description text. It was interesting how Nintendo made a big deal concerning the Pikmin's AI, which was quickly criticized even around the time of the game's release.
An action game in which you take along a group of 100 ant-like Pikmin!!!
Captain Olimar has been shipwrecked in space. Encountering the Pikmin on an unknown planet, for some reason these tiny lifeforms have swarmed around and proceeded to walk along behind him. Olimar borrows their power, determined to gather his ship parts which have been scattered about...
Acting on their own accord, the clever Pikmin utilize a new sense of AI (Artificial Intelligence) action. Encountering, celebrating, joy, sorrow. It's the law of the jungle in the violent natural world. Together with the Pikmin, use your wits to overcome it!
