Super Mario USA (9.14.92)
The reskinned Doki Doki Panic proved so intriguing that "Mario 2" was brought back to Japan in 1992. The Japanese cover art is a rather humorous redo of Doki Doki Panic.

Mario has come back from the USA!
Developed by the Super Mario staff, "Dream Factory: Doki Doki Panic," using characters from Japan's 1987 Fuji Television Special Event "Dream Factory," was released for the Famicom Disk System. Retitled "Super Mario Bros 2" and adding such things as a new boss characters, the game was a big hit in America.
The familiar quintet of Mario, Luigi, Kinopio (Toad) and Peach have plenty to do in the Dream World. Buried within the ground are daikon radishes and carrots, which you can uproot one by one to finish off that trickster Wart!
