Marvel Super Heroes: War of the Gems (11.18.96)
Somewhat obscure being such a late SNES release, War of the Gems is a spiritual sequel to Mutant Apocalypse, boasting a playable cast similar to the recent Marvel Super Heroes fighter. I was much too preoccupied with my new Nintendo 64 when this released in 1996, but hopefully Capcom can get it out on consoles again one day.
In order to protect peace throughout the universe, these American Super Heroes have assembled!
Captain America, Spider Man, the super human Hulk... with all of America wildly enthusiastic about these multiple generations of super heroes, they're finally assembled onto the world of the Super Famicom. In order to save the world, and the whole universe from danger, now is the time they unleash the power of justice!
