Arriving just 6 months before Final Fantasy VII, Rudora no Hihou was to be Square's last game on a Nintendo system for the rest of the millennium. Featuring rich colors and animated battles, as of this writing it has yet to receive an official western release.

A single tribe has flourished for 4,000 years. With the world having been led to the brink of destruction, the one who is to bring about the next people appears. His name is the Rudra.
The humans have been the world's central tribe for nearly 4000 years. The atmosphere has become polluted, and omens of destruction have appeared in every part of the land.
A single, grand tale, played through 3 people's points of view.
Illustrated across the same time period, the story is carved out amongst the scenarios of 3 separate main characters. Clearing each character in order, or advancing everyone within a single day...is up to the player.
With the 'magic word' system, create the strongest spell!
In this new system, the effects of spells are decided according to the 6-character words created by the player.
