Virtua Fighter 3 Team Battle Japanese Packaging / Box Art Translation

Virtua Fighter 3 Team Battle (11.27.98)

Debuting in arcades in 1996, VF3 was the most prominent of Sega's Model 3 games which led the graphics arms race for the remainder of the decade. The home port, handled by Genki, wasn't quite perfect, but some Americans not wanting to wait 10 months for the US release paid over $1000 to import the system. The Project Berkley mention on the back was the code name for Shenmue.
