Street Fighter: The Movie / Street Fighter Real Battle On Film (Sega Saturn) Japanese Packaging / Box Art Translation

Street Fighter: The Movie / Street Fighter Real Battle On Film (Sega Saturn) (8.11.95)

I had the privilege of seeing Street Fighter in theaters and found the experience quite baffling. Unlike the largely accurate Mortal Kombat movie, most of Street Fighter's characters were portrayed entirely different from the games, though Jean Claude Van Dam did look really cool as Guile. I at least got to shake off the confusion of the brainwashed Blanka and 'evil scientist' Dhalsim with a couple games of Darkstalkers in the arcade afterwards. I never had the chance to play the arcade or console versions of Street Fighter: The Movie, but hope they're included in the next inevitable Capcom compilation, for curiosity and preservation's sake.
