NBA Jam (Mega Drive) (4.29.94)
A surprise release in Japan, a country not known for its basketball fandom. NBA Jam nevertheless made it's way to the moderately successful Mega Drive. With arcade gameplay so fun that even non-sports fans like myself got into it, it won enough fans that the following later Tournament Edition was brought over as well.
