Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 (1.21.94)

Similar to Yoshi's Island, Wario borrows the Super Mario title to launch his own brand. This was the first game in the more puzzle-focused Wario platformer series.

Is is ~I~, the main character!

It's me! WARIO! This time, I think I'll go and build a castle of my very own, but something like that will take money. The island of the pirates sure has a bunch of treasure. How about sneaking in and taking it for myself?

In addition to the unrivaled destructive force of my body blow, there's the superhuman strength of Bull Wario, flying ability of Jet Wario and fire-breathing Dragon Wario. All of these transformations make my strength even more complete!! The explosively fun super-action game, Wario Land. This is MMMYYYYY game!

Virtual Boy Wario Land / Wario Land: Awazon's Hidden Treasure (12.1.95)

One of the most surprising titles not to be ported in some form, Wario starred in a full fledged, well received adventure for the short lived Virtual Boy.

Wario pops out!! This time, I'm doing things a bit different!!

One day, Wario discovered a treasure that was a bit different than usual. However, blinded by his greed, he ended up falling all the way down...to the depths of the earth. This time, the stage is set in the Giant Underground World! Wario finds himself in a huge, desperate pinch!! Thanks to the Virtual Boy, the game is filled with a number of three dimensional tricks...and Wario will be attacking his enemies without mercy. Of course, Wario has new power-up items. 'Everyone, enjoy an even more powerful...ME!'

Wario Land II (10.21.98)

Nintendo of America, always looking out for the nation's kids, changed 'Drunken Wario' into 'Crazy Wario' for the stateside release. The Japanese version includes stickers of his distinctive mustache.

Wario World (05.27.04)

The Japanese edition of Wario World received a stylish gold bar style packaging in line with the game's theme. Developed by Treasure, this played less like a puzzler and more like an beat-em-up platformer. I've always wished to try it, but as of this writing it's still a GameCube exclusive, commanding a gold bar payment itself.
