 Chrono Trigger (Super Famicom) (3.11.95)

Possibly the greatest RPG on the SNES, the entire cast (well, almost) stands out on the white background in Toriyama's unmistakable style.

Brought to the PlayStation by popular demand, as well as serving as an appetizer for the eagerly awaited Chrono Cross set to arrive just weeks later...many hardcore Chrono Trigger fans were willing to endure some load times in exchange for the gorgeous new animated movies.

Combining the quick loading of the SNES with the animated movies of the PS1, plus some optional extras and portability, Chrono Trigger on DS is arguably the definitive version. The one problem...this masterpiece deserves a grander display than the DS' 3 inch screen.
