Street Fighter II & Street Fighter II Championship Edition / Dash Japanese Packaging and Box Art Translations

Street Fighter II (Super Famicom / SNES) (10.10.92)

Featuring striking artwork and a rousing description, Street Fighter II was one of the most remarkable arcade to console ports seen yet. Despite just a month's wait for the American version, hardcore gamers of the early 90s were eager to pay a premium and import it early.

Seeking to become true fighters, the powerful have assembled from all over the world!!

The road towards becoming a true warrior. Those words mean precisely that to the winners of the Street Fight. Training their bodies to the utmost limit, sharpening their spirits, winning means everything as the most monumental of fights unfold across the world. Your eyes won't be able to stop moving as you dodge attacks, followed by UNLEASHING your refined skills!

Wash away your own blood with the blood of those you've defeated. For this never-ending fight, the keg has been lit off with a bang! LET'S FIGHT!!

(By connecting the CPS Fighter (A compatible, separately sold joystick), play and enjoy battles with the most realistic (arcade) feel.)

Street Fighter II: Champion Edition / Dash Plus (Mega Drive / Genesis) (9.28.93)
After the SNES got an exclusive console port of the original Street Fighter II, the Mega Drive eventually received an even better version in the form of Dash Plus.

To lose the prestige of a true Street Fighter...

My body has been trained to the limits, my spirit sharpened! In a fight where victory is all that matters...now, that flame has been lit!

Street Fighter II: Champion Edition (11.12.93)

An excellent port of SFII: CE. Unfortunately, it was a Japanese exclusive and didn't make it to North America where the PC Engine / TurboGrafx-16 was turning into an obscurity at the time.

In the quest to become a true fighter, endless life and death struggles unfold...

Street Fighter II: Champion Edition / Dash (Sharp X68000) (11.26.93)

Released exclusively in Japan, the X68000 edition is near identical to the arcade with crisp graphics and clear sound.

In the name of fate, they continue fighting. Playing before your eyes, is either glory or defeat...

No one knows when it will end.

The road of the [True Fighter].

Here it is, just your body and skills.

The fighters, battling all the way to explosions of violence, have now gathered here.

Does glory await at the conclusion of the fight?

Street Fighter II (Game Boy) (9.11.95)

Street Fighter II is one of those games that was pretty much impossible to replicate on the Game Boy, but you just know they were going to try anyway. The forgotten port of Street Fighter Alpha on the Game Boy Color faired better.

A burning hot fight, at any time!

Street Fighter II shown up on the Game Boy!

Anytime, anywhere, enjoy the burning hot fight! Of course, versus battles are also available!! Ryu and Chun-Li await you!
