Metal Gear (Famicom) (12.22.87)
The first game produced by Hideo Kojima, Metal Gear released on the MSX2 before being ported to the Famicom, undergoing substantial alterations within a strict deadline by another team within Konami. Despite the rocky development, the Famicom/NES version was received nearly as positively as the original.

Tactical Role Playing Adventure Game
Deep within South Africa, [Outer Heaven], a weaponized fort nation, is seemingly aiming to repaint the entire world's history of warfare though the development of its terrifying weapon of massacre, [Metal Gear].
The elite military group, [Fox Hound], has tasked one of its members, Solid Snake, with searching, identifying and destroying [Metal Gear].
(Solid Snake! This is not training, but an actual battle. Pray for a fortunate outcome...)
