Still in high contention as the best JRPG ever created, the 6th edition undoubtedly combines everything Square learned from the first 5 games, and then some. From the incredibly powerful soundtrack to the distinctively gloomy world and tragic story, FFVI barely trails Chrono Trigger and Link to the Past as my favorite title on the system.
