Released after Super Adventure Island on the SNES, Adventure Island III seems to take heavy inspiration from Super Mario World with its world map, dinosaur friend and stylized environments.

This is the peaceful country of Adventure Island. Meijin spends each day in bliss together with his No. 1 babe in the world, Tina. But one day...a UFO appears, taking away Tina. In order for Meijin to rescue Tina, he sets off on an adventurous trip!
