This Wonder Swan exclusive was quite a bit different than the Super Famicom and its GBA port, however it launched to negative reviews. The "Yellow Devil" was amusingly called the "Grey Devil" in this monochrome release.

Suddenly, Dark Rockman, also knows as Rockman Shadow, has appeared! With the emergence of this new enemy, Rockman and Forte decide to call a temporary truce and fight and together! Well now, it looks like the strongest "tag" (team) has been born!
