New Super Mario Brothers Wii (12.03.09)
Somewhat underrated critically, NSMB Wii felt like an excellent follow-up to Super Mario World with all the action on screen and new topography featured. I wouldn't mind a release on a future system that gets rid of the waggle controls.

With simple, fun controls, Mario action is here on the Wii. Playing on your own, go through the challenges at your own pace, or play together with all your friends and family. With a world made up entirely of brand new courses, Mario and his allies have quite an adventure ahead.
New Power Ups
Propeller Mario, Ice Mario, Penguin Mario
By swinging the Wii Remote, Propeller Mario flies further up in the air, Ice Mario freezes enemies with ice...among other new power-ups.
A maximum of four players can cooperate, or battle one another.
Cooperative Play, Coin Contest Battle
Carrying and throwing other characters, engage in cooperative play with others. Or, you can go after coins in a competitive battle.
'Example Play' gives relief to beginners.
In case you've reached a dead end during your adventure, 'example play' is here to support you. Luigi will teach you hints for the course you're on.
