In what must have been a neat time for FFII fans, the game gets its first post-Famicom release in a major graphical upgrade, and portable to boot. While there were numerous gameplay changes, the infamous stat decreasing feature was still in effect.

The origin of the series' sense of "Drama," Final Fantasy II, has been revived in a new era. New scenes have been added, increasing the impact of the story. A more complete game system. In a tale passed down through the generations of legendary heroes, the curtain opens once again.
