Luigi's Mansion (GameCube) Japanese Packaging / Box Art Translation

Luigi's Mansion (GameCube) (9.14.01)

While I was deeply disappointed that the GameCube launched without a Mario game, Luigi's Mansion made for a perfect rental. Amusingly titled 'Luigi Mansion' in Japan, I prefer the more minimalist JP cover over the US version.

Luigi, waiting for his first time to become the "main character" in the Mario series, finds himself deep in a pitch black forest, where an unsettling mansion towers over him. Instead of Mario, who was supposed to arrive first, there are all these mischief making monsters! What the heck happened to Mario?

Luigi, feeling a bit scared, musters up all his courage...Exhilarating, feet fluttering horror action is here!

"Brother Mario, where are you...?"

(Upper caption) The ghost researcher requests Luigi to return the ghosts to thier original form: inside of portraits.

(Lower caption) Using a mysterious vacuum cleaner, suck up the ghosts in satisfying action!
