Ported to the SNES, PS1, Saturn and later the PSP. This version of Parodius introduces a live commentary feature. The soundtrack on this one was also unreal. Everything from Japanese-infused surfer rock to a blatant copy of "That's the Way I Like it" by K.C. and The Sunshine Band. (Translation note: 笑撃 (Laugh Attack) is a pun of 衝撃 (Impact), both pronounced "Shougeki".)
