F-Zero Japanese Packaging / Box Art Translation

F-Zero (11.21.90)

This Super Famicom launch title boasted fantastic, colorful American comic-book style artwork, while the US packaging used a standard format. The American F-Zero having a neat comic in the manual at least. I dug the line that implies the new Super Famicom technology is so incredible, it can transmit events from the future.

Go from '1' to 'ZERO' in the racing game from the future!

The date is 2560. Resembling the F-1 Races that used to take place on Earth, people of the future have been sucked into the craze of the inter-planetary Grand Prix known as F-Zero. The game is centered around 4 rivals, as battles across 15 circuits unfold over 9 cities and even various planets in the 26th century fight, F-ZERO. These events are able to "reappear" with the technology of the Super Famicom, so even people of the 20th century can now participate!
