Captain Commando (Super Famicom) (9.14.91)
This fantastical beat-em-up with an odd and varied cast was an excellent follow-up to the grittier and more realistic Final Fight. Later on in the decade, I really dug Captain Commando's inclusion in Marvel vs. Capcom.

The year is 2026. The earth's surface has become overflown with crime. To sweep it away, from the Earth to the entire universe, Captain Commando and three brave warriors have risen up! However, as they head deeper in the pursuit of crime, there's a hidden secret waiting to be discovered. The many criminals they'll face are not normal people, but have been enhanced with special abilities. These people have been called "Super Criminals."
