It's always satisfying to pop the enemies like balloons in this arcade classic. Well into the early 90s, I could recall seeing this often at various arcades years after the NES port was available.

Do away with them, through puncturing!?
The strategic digging game [Dig Dug] has arrived!! Exterminate monsters as you dig and progress up, down, left and right through the ground. Use the pump on your enemies and get to pushing. When the enemies get too dangerous, lead them under rocks which will collapse and destroy them! Well, go on and 'excavate' your own technique!
