Intense shoot-em-ups such as 1942 tend to make for rough 8-bit ports, but it was still quite received, similar to the awkward Ghosts 'n Goblins port.

Using your somersault attack, aim to be the king at downing planes!!
It's finally out! Capcom's 1942 has become a part of the Famicom library. Gradually power up your plane by picking up various POWs and you'll soon be the unrivaled king of taking down planes!! If things still get dangerous, hit the A Button to perform a somersault!! Watch out however, as the enemies and huge aircraft will keep being sent out!
